The GreenOil venture is designed to have a multi faceted positive impact on the Environment as a whole:

• It transforms waste land into a forest by creating almost 20 square kilometres of forest with over 3 million trees
• Each year, over 20,000 tons of CO₂ sequestered (removed) from the atmosphere by these trees – this is a very important fact as almost all greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction projects focus on slowing down the addition of more GHG’s like CO₂. Afforestation is one of the only two methods of actually removing CO₂ from the atmosphere, the other being a very expensive process of compressing and burying the CO₂ underground
• Will produce over 2000 tons of bio diesel per annum
• Will produce over 5000 tons of organic fertiliser and pesticide per annum
• Will produce over 8000 tons of bio mass for compost / energy generation per annum
• It promotes natural rainwater harvesting and increase in the ground water levels
• It actively works to conserve soil and increase the humus content and over all soil quality

On the whole, the more it produces, the healthier it makes the environment. How many businesses can make such a claim?
